Many people have a method to clean their coffee pots. Sometimes the results can of coffee that tastes bitter as the coffee residue left in the pan and filter coffee. That's not a good thing, and something that definitely did not want to happen when you're serving guests or company! . One simple way to clean your coffee pot, the old-fashioned way with some soap and water. This is a simple way to clean the pan that will help a little. You can also run some hot water through the filter to clean that out as well.
Another way to clean your coffee pot is to pop it in the dishwasher. It will definitely get a clean pot, but what about the rest of the machine? Filter and the coffee pot is a tube from which the rest of the coffee machine can get stuck and clog. Once again, run some hot soapy water through the pot should be able to clean it and make it somewhat better. Once you start cleaning your coffee brewing system on a regular basis you will never go back to the days of not cleaning it.
